Marin City Pedestrian Improvements – Phase 2
Description
Overview
This project includes pedestrian upgrades, including 19 sidewalk curb ramps, at locations in Marin City (see below). Work will include the removal of existing sidewalk, and construction of new curb ramps that meet current standards for accessibility, sidewalk upgrades, and work on curbs and gutters, reconstructing catch basins, relocating street signs, and refreshing pavement markings for crosswalks.

Funding
The estimated $340,000 project is 72% funded by Sub-Housing Incentive Pool (Sub-HIP) grant program through the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and the remainder is covered by the local match funding.
Traffic Impacts
Construction activities are anticipated to take place during daytime hours with traffic control measures in place. Traffic delays will be limited to 5 minutes. Temporary lane closures would be limited to work hours.
