This safety improvement project will add fire suppression sprinklers to the facility and replace existing smoke detection system with one that meets current codes and compliance. The library was built in 1976 and is in a Wildland Urban Interface Area. These improvements are part of a long term plan to protect that facility and ensure safety for patrons.
Engineer’s estimate for the project is $400,000 and funded through a Measure A bond.
