Edgewood Avenue Road Stabilization Project

Description

Overview

The roadway in front the driveway for 643 Edgewood Ave has experienced settlement and roadway creep over the years. The County proposes to install approximately 54 linear feet cast-in-drilled-hole and anchored pile cap retaining wall to shore up the roadway.

Funding

The estimate for this project is $600,000 and it will be funded by the County's Road & Bridge Fund.

Traffic impacts

It is anticipated that there will be significant traffic impacts to residents living in this area. The roadway will most likely be temporary close during construction hours and reopened outside of working hours. Community outreach and notifications to residents will be done in advance of any impacts.
