The existing office space for the Recorder Clerk Department, which located in rooms 230-234 in the Marin County Hall of Justice, is being renovated. The renovated space will address staff offices, workstations, and new Recorder’s and Clerk’s public lobbies. The renovation includes the removal of old materials, installation of new flooring, enhanced security, and construction of interior walls. The project scope also includes public access and staff workflow improvements to meet current/future needs, as well as electrical improvements and accessibility upgrades.
The estimated cost is $590,000 and will be funded through the County General Fund.
There will be minimal impacts to the public during construction.
