Overview

Due to the age and condition of the Marin Showcase Theater seating and surrounding area, is has been determined that seating replacement and restoration of the theatre space is needed. This will provide improved usability, functionality and enjoyment of the public facility.

This project covers the demolition and replacement of the aging Showcase Theater seating and restoration of the surrounding surfaces and finishes, including walls, floors and speaker mounting attachments. This project will include structural and electrical engineering elements.

Funding

Cultural Services has funds available for the implementation of this project with an anticipated cost of approximately $898,000.

Public impacts

There will be minimal impacts to the public during construction.
