Pavement preservation treatments help extend the useful life of pavement by keeping it in good condition, thereby avoiding the need for exponentially more expensive rehabilitation projects. For the 2022/23 fiscal year, Marin County Public Works will improve 13% of the County-maintained road network. This image shows a pavement preservation treatment project completed last year on Fallon Two Rock Road near Dillon Beach in West Marin. The project won an award in 2022 from the Western Regional Association of Pavement Preservation.
