Corte Madera Library Upgrades
Description
Overview
This project will create code compliant path of travel from Meadowsweet Drive to the Library entrance. Electric vehicle chargers will be added to improve customer experience. Men’s and women’s restrooms will be reconfigured and upgraded to meet current ADA requirements.
Funding
Engineer’s estimate for the project is $1.7M and is funded by the Marin County Disability Access Program.
Public impacts
Some changes to access and parking will take place during construction. Public restrooms will be closed during some construction activities and will be temporarily replaced with portable restrooms.
