“I became an engineer because I love solving problems. I became a public servant to make a difference. I became a director because I enjoy combining people and resources to create something better. I believe that when times are bad, you lead from the front and buffer staff from the turbulence and hopefully provide some calm. When times are good, you lead from the back, allowing staff to shine while providing guidance and mentorship. Always encourage people to become the best they can be. When I’m not working, I love reading, playing my guitar, songwriting, tinkering or cycling with my wife Michelle.”
