Stormwater Pollution Prevention

Responsible for compliance with state and federal clean water regulations. This division is made up of the local stormwater program, responsible for providing compliance support to the County’s operations in unincorporated areas, and the Marin Countywide Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program (MCSTOPPP) which provides support for countywide compliance activities through a joint effort of Marin’s cities, towns, and unincorporated areas to prevent stormwater pollution and protect water quality.
