Accounting

Responsible for all departmental financial tasks which include, payroll, budget preparation/maintenance, grants, audits, asset management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, in-house financial systems training, cost-accounting, project accounting, financial analysis, and reporting for all programs within Public Works. They collaborate with other departments, i.e., Department of Finance, Administrator’s Office, etc. with regards to countywide project creation, project maintenance, countywide project carryforward process, asset verification (vehicles, equipment, and infrastructure), capitalization process, intra- departmental, and inter-departmental charges.
